Not sure when delivery date will be but they said that since my order has a name on it dodge will build it before orders with out names on them. I hope to get it between Sept to Dec some time.

 

Thanks for the heads-up JV...if that's the case, I might as well just hold out for the limited availability B5 Blue. As much as I love Stone White, B5 is pretty sweet...or according to my brochure it's "high-impact". I am planning to order my R/T 6-spd with the 20 in. wheels sometime in December (if all goes according to plan).

 

I ordered an 09 R/T with a 6-speed and I'm currently scheduled to start production August 19th

 

That's awesome! Do you expect to take delivery this Fall? My understanding is that is roughly the time the `09s will start finding their way into showrooms.

 

Well that sucks. I guess since I ordered an SRT8, Im stuck at the end of the line. I was really hoping to get mine before I have to leave for Afghanistan. If you ask me, I think they should honor the pre-orders before building for the showroom. To do otherwise is a smack in the face to loyal enthusiasts. [sm=pcwhack.gif]

 

I'm hoping to get my car mid to late September... Once the plant comes back from shutdown I hope to hear more and move along quickly.

 

YA HOOOOOOO just talked to my dealer and my 2009 R/T Challenger order is now at " D " status with a vin number and could possibly get it sometime late September or early October......hoping maybe I can hit a few fall car shows WHOOOO HOOOOOO or do some of these [sm=gears.gif] before the snow falls. I hit D1 status 4/15/2008, Did not get my car until 7/20/08 and my number is 2179 so by that info you are looking at least 3 months until it is in your driveway.

 

I ordered my R/T under my name on Friday, July 18th 2008 at 5:30PM. Today I learn the car is already on BX status, is that quick or what? BA to BX in 2-working days is very optimistic view. I wonder how long before D status, hopefully by Friday. I can wish can I. LOL.

As of 7/18: "BA" status.
As of 7/22: "BX" status.
As of 7/25: " ? " status.

 

I’ve been told that now that the 08’s are done the 09’s should move a lot faster. I don’t think people will be seeing the three month waiting issue.



Got an update on my car, hasn’t hit D yet, but the projected build date got moved to August 7th.
