Why do we see so few Challengers in the wild

RE: Why do we see so few Challengers in the wild
Took delivery on Sept. 8th.
Thus far it is a weekend play-toy, under 2,000 miles.
Outstanding boulevard cruiser.
Recent trip down to the Florida Keys = 23 MPG.
This new 5.7 HEMI with VVT and MDS really works!

I have a 2009 R/T and I got it in August of 2008.
I have just over 3,500 miles.
I am a (1) using the car as my daily drive on my 100 mile round trip to work 5 days a week.

I'm not sure what the "senior tech" is talking about...the tremec TR6060 has far proven it's durability in the viper, the shelby cobra mustangs and all trim levels of corvettes. dear lord, it can hold up to a 600HP V10, i doubt 375-425 HP is exactly stressing this trans. Now the rear end in the challenger is another story...we won't know for a while how they hold up, even after the redesign. I know i'm doing my part to "durability test" every part of my drivetrain, including a 3000 rpm clutch-drop last night for the amusement of my white knuckled passenger!

Where you live plays a big part of how many you see.

You would think that we here in Arizona would see a lot of new Challengers driving around with our great cruising weather...but doesn't seen to be the case. The most I have ever seen together outside of a dealership is three at a local Sat. night car show (Paladin06 with his SRT and another Orange SRT, in addition to my Black SRT). Seems as if people are "saving" their cars hoping to cash in later. I took delivery of mine in August, and have about 1800 miles on it. It's a daily driver for now.
