O.K. Aug. 18 is going to be here real soon. Any guesses as to what big suprise SRT has in store for the 2008 Dodge Challenger concept car? Or does someone have an inside scoop. Engine? Body panels? Wheels? Color? Any guesses.

 

I have a good idea what we will see- a 6.4 SRT Challenger!

In an SRT Chat session a few months ago, someone asks the engineers if there was a 6.4 Hemi Challenger in the future. They replied that they were not allowed to talk about future cars/options.

However, they said to watch for the Woodward Cruise. Can you read between the lines?

Yeah, I think you'll see the Concept car and not much else. Dodge doesn't want to give anything away to the Chevy boys. Remember the Challenger is coming out first and they don't want to give anything away so Chevy can counter and beat the Challenger.

 

they said to watch for the car at the WDC last year too, and I dont know a single person who saw it...only a poorly photoshopped photo released by dodge.

 

Yes, last year (06) woodward Dream Cruise the Concept Challenger was moved to Pebble Beach for the concours there. I think I can make time ot run up to Woodward and 13 mile for het Chrysler exhibit. Camera with me.

there is so much speculation..who knows when we will actually see a production model...ill believe it when i see it on a showroom floor for sale.
