Just left the dealer ordering my DWB RT 6spd. He gave me my VON
Is there a way to track the build now, or do I just wait?? I've been waiting for awhile now, so a few more weeks won't kill me. At least this gives me more time to save $$$ for mods
. I finally feel like one of the family, and instead of dreaming of my mods, I'll be making them.

VON# does not mean a thing...........
When you have a VIN# then you know yeaaaa in the ball park........
Anyone that orders a car Charger,Camaro,Mustang or even a Challenger will get a VON#.........
Having a VON# does not mean anything if your dealer does not have a allocation for the car.
The smart way is just to buy the car and get the best deal off of a dodge car lot...
If you order one you might never see the car......Get it now when you can...who knows if Dodge
will make a 2010 or be around in July of 2009......
I think one of the car companys will be gone soon and not even get a bailout(its not a loan when you cannot pay the money back}
The people have had it with this goverment giving out bailouts to everyone(you might call them loans but the taxpayer really owns GM and Chrysler as of now}.......JT

Few more weeks, that would be nice. Let's see, I had an order place on Oct 25, it never made it out of confirmation status, meaning they confirmed that they recieved the order at the factory. I finally picked one up in Kansas. Another person at a dealership did the same thing because he waited forever. They're in no hurry to make these things for some reason.
If you want to track it, you can call Chrysler and go through the menu prompts until you talk to someone. They'll be able to tell you the status of the car, though it doesn't mean that they know what they're talking about. I had one tell me that the order was wrong and I needed to talk to my dealer. There was nothing wrong with it, they just weren't building it. Good luck. It's nice to have your name on the window sticker, but does no good if you never get it.
