Chris,
I'm happy for ya!!!! Give them about a week or two.....then they readlly come alive! I'm still waitng for the 3" SS X-pipe and tips.....I spoke with Ron and Frank the other day.....they said they were pretty close and getting ready to ship! I can't wait!!
Again....Congrats! Hit the freeway (Windows Down) Run it up to about 59 MPH........stab the throttle.....You'll love it!
Gregory
You going to install the new X-pipe as soon as you get it Greg? Would really like to find out what difference it makes in the sound. Give me a heads up if you could... better yet... maybe we could meet up sometime and compare notes...

ORIGINAL: Dodge Favre ever

Did they make the black SRT a little faster but still not as fast as the SILVER.
The question is invalid... therefore has no real answer. Black has always been faster. [sm=icon_rock.gif]

Chris,
Yes I'm going to istall the Zoomers 3" SS X-Pipe.....I don't think i'm going to do the true X though!! I've been talking with Ron (Zoomers) quite a bit and he's found little measureable HP gains with the true X.....but has found plenty of drone issues. Me....I'm just going to make it breath as best I can.....Their tips sound prety awesome.....so I'm trying to control myself tell they get here.
Yes, we should hook up soon. I finally have some spare time (Boeing Strike). My Eibach Pro-Street-S's should be here this week....with the Hotchkis bars coming soon! It's going to be sweet!

Has anybody installed zoomers on a 5.7L MDS engine yet and ran the engine when MDS kicks in.

From the website it appears the Zoomers only support 6.1L. I suspect Zoomers don't sound good when it is only running on 4 cylinders and hence the reason for the resonators.

Any feedback on how it sounds?

As we speak Zoomers has my Challenger R/T on their dock, taking measurements, and going to do stock dyno tomorrow. Then they will install their system on my R/T and take a few photos and videos. Soon they will develop and have the R/T exhaust systems for sale. He may have the videos and photos of my baby on his site by Saturday, I hope. Keep and eye.

Considering that the Zoomers are actually pretty quite at cruising speed I doubt anyone will notice how they sound when the MDS is engaged as MDS only activates during gentle cruise...

Just let me know when you find out for sure.

My 6.1 obviously has no MDS... just thought I would throw out that they are very quiet at cruise... thought it might be helpful is all.
