ATTN: All Challenger Owners!!
New member checking in:
I currently own two Challengers. I have a 1970 R/T SE, 440 Magnum that I have owned since 1986 and I just recently aquired a 2009 SRT8.
I look forward to visiting here on a regular basis.
Cheers, Dan.

Hello Everyone from South Carolina!
I wanted to introduce myself and tell you I am very excited to join this forum. I recently purchased a HEMI Orange SRT8 (auto), with all the electronic options, and should be taking delivery sometime next week, including all the MOPAR goodies installed (part of the $2,000 MOPAR cash program). As soon as I get some pics will post.
This is the first american car I have owned in 20 years (currently have a VW Phaeton and a BMW 5 series). Not that I am a foreign car snob, but I appreciate good build quality. However, to me this Dodge is an altogether different story: It represents the rebirth of the American auto industry, with new, exciting and well-built cars that will compete with anyone, anywhere, anytime. Not to mention the bang for the buck factor. Try buying a foreign car with this performance, in this price range.....
The Challenger has it all: good looks, reliability, good build quality, and is an A+ "fun to drive" machine.
I am proud of this car... I am proud of what it represents....and is only the begining of what promises to be another "golden age" for the American Auto industry.
All the best!

Welcome to the boards. What part of South Carolina? I travel between NC and SC as my job needs depend. I live in Westminster SC near Clemson and Kanapolis NC near Charlotte. I'm mostly in NC and always on the look out for Mopars and Challengers especially. I own a 2009 Inferno Red R/T 6-speed and a 1970 White R/T. Glad to see you went with an american car and are giving it an honest shot. These cars are really well built on a solid platform. I look for refinements as the car matures over the next few years. Enjoy your ride and give yourself plenty of time between point A and point B. You will be stopped and asked a lot about your new ride.

Thanks for your note... Manning SC, about 45 miles south of Florence, along I95. It must be really neat to put those R/T's side-by-side. Is your 2009 a daily driver? Thanks for the tips. Too bad delivery is next week since I was going to be in Charlotte this weekend... Would have loved to show it off....Next time!
Best Regards

Yup, had an 09, waiting on an 2010 KZ status right now.
