if i may make a quick side note...what did you mean about the V8 1500s, RLSH700? The 2nd gen 360 Rams came with a 5 speed, as do the 3rd gen 4.7L 1500s...

well, im not positive about the 3rd gens with the 4.7, but i thought that a few guys at DF have mtx 3rd gens, and i know they dont have V6s...and ive driven a 2nd gen mtx 360....
What I meant is. The 5.7L HEMI does not have a manual option in the 1500, the 5.3L does not have a manual option in the Silverado 1500, the Ford 5.4L does not have a manual option in the F-150, the Titan does not have any manual option, and the TOYota Tundra does not have a manual option for the 4.7L. What I said was every TOP OPTION V8, meaning the highest level V8 option. For example, in the Ram the 5.7L HEMI is the top option and the 4.7L is optional, but not the highest level available with that manufacturer. Are you sure the 360 was in the non-SS/T 1500 models during the 1994-2001 time area? Because my sources claim a 360 only avaible with a manual option in the 2500 and 3500 models. Even if it did, currently it is no longer available and what is currently offered is what I'm refering to. Preformance models don't count.

It's okay, neither was I. I was just trying to better explain my point, that is how I discuss my points. I'm just very long winded in my responses. It's just the way I communicate. If I was are arguing I would be more agressive. I was just trying to give you more examples to help prove what I was saying. Sorry you took it as I was arguing.

mike, it was odd..this was at a state inspection shop in PA, and they had this BEAT work truck with oregon plates on it. They spoke very broken english, and some french, and with my three years of high school french i was able to figure out what (i thought) they were talking about. it just needed tuned up, badly. but how about this...i did a three step system cleaner, cap/rotors, wires, plugs, etc...the bill wasnt huge, but figure, the three step alone runs about 100 bucks...they had another truck with them that had a bunch of newer generators in the back...when they got the bill, they tried to pay in generators!!! my boss and i seriously considered paying their bill (since it was a corporate shop, we couldnt accept bartering) and then taking the generators in exchange, but i didnt need one at the time, and the boss's wife said no...
