New Member - Hemi Orange SRT8
Hello forum members. I am a new member from the South west suburbs (Tinley Park) of Chicago. Just purchased a 2009 SRT8 in Hemi Orange in January. Its been tough over the past few months not being able to drive the car. There has been a few dry days in the 50/60s. Lets say I was gone most of the day cruising the area. So far, I can say the car has exceeded my expectations. Never had a car with this much performance and power. For all of you new members waiting for delivery - Its definatley worth the wait.

Hey Matt, Welcome... You are down by my Friend Jim Kaften, who also has an orange SRT. I am a member of The Chicagoland Mopar Club, our web site is www.chicagolandmopar.com .... just a Mopar car club with lots of area activities.. check the club .... out as much fun as these cars are.. its even more fun when you can be with others who share your love of cars / Mopars.. Oh and mine is black, and sorry to say but black has been proven to be just the slightest bit faster because of its absence of color. (inside forum joke)

Is there a Mopar Club in Ky. I live in Elizabethtown . About 40 miles south of Louisville.

Thanksf for the information on the Chicagoland Mopar club. I am definately looking forward to any events in the spring and summer. You can also tell your friend that I have found some great/safe places to test out the 0-60 and quarter mile performance features on the car.
