I'm currently waiting to hear on my offer on a 2019 Challenger Redeye Widebody. I currently have a 2009 SRT, 6-speed, in Hemi Orange. I've owned it for ten years and have 28000 miles on it. What my dealer gives me for a trade value will make or break the deal. This new purchase will be a weekend use car. I have a second home on Cape Cod and I currently keep my SRT in the garage at that location. I only drive it on dry roads. It is all original except for four new tires I put on at 23000 miles and a new battery a year or so ago.
My question is, am I crazy to buy a redeye widebody with 797hp or should I go with a Hellcat Widebody with 717hp? No plans to race it. I would just be driving it around casually and maybe taking in a few car shows. What do you think?
