Default Christmas List

I know this sort of weird.

What do you want.

(besides two front teeth, a job at dodge, a Challenger, and a college degree.)

I personally want

1 Nintendo Wii
2 Anything Challenger
3 Rush album Snakes and Arrows
4 Shower Radio
5 Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Platinum Edition.
6 1967 Copper 273 Plymouth Barracuda
7 Mountain Dew

Oh, to be young again and ask for "games". God bless you, Tanner - you made me smile. You want a lot, my young friend.

As you get older, you'll want:
1) one day a week to sleep in - late (I'd be happy with one day a month).
2) one night a month for just my wife and myself to spend alone (dinner, a movie - or a quiet night on the couch watching a DVD).
3) to NOT wake up and feel my bones ache as I slide out of bed.
4) to have an endless supply of firewood - split and neatly stacked by the "wood gnomes" - as I sleep late - LOL.
5) to spend 50 more years with my wondeful wife before God decides to take either of us home.

Since Santa can't give me these things, I'll enjoy the day / season with my family, and forego gifts this year and roll-over to next year's list - very short - a 2009 Dodge Challenger.
That should make it easy on that "merry old elf".

BTW _ ask for the RUSH - Snakes and Arrows MVI/DVD. You can play that in your CD player AND watch the video of how they made the album (here in upstate NY) on your DVD player. It also gets you some neat free downloads. Well worth the extra cost over the CD!. My wife got me a copy for my birthday......after she got us tickets to see them at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center this past summer. I hadn't seen them since 1978 (in Glens Falls, NY). They're every bit as good now as they were then!

1. To be back home with my Wife and Daughter.
2. A big 3'x5' poster of the Challenger.
3. For Metallica to put together a decent album again.

For #3, I think they passed the torch to Godsmack or AudioSlave. I could tolerate (just barely) Queen and Elton John covers, but then Bob Seager....why not just throw in Tiny Tim and Egleberg Humperdink in for good measure.

Favorite album (you know our ages right?) from the boys is Ride the Lightening.....they did pretty damn well and shook things up a bit; but they aren't quite Zep in my book!

I understand they have to grow musically and all of that, but I have to agree with you, with the exception of a few songs of Load and Reloaded...not much to be impressed with since the Black album (Spinal Tap, crucial!)

my parents will hopefuly be picking up the Wii today.

Man, I hate nintendo. i honestly think they are holding back the Wii's until the hype is unbeliveable, then blow all of them out. then there wil be 100 in every store and nintendo will make billions overnight.

Why do the have to be so cruel[sm=smiley19.gif]

funny story about my #7 on my C-list

My dad and I like Mountain Dew. He wasn't all to awake while driving, so we went into a travel stop on the way out to my grandparents in the country to get a drink. We walk in and go to the fountain.

We had a funny father and son moment.
In a summary it went like this.

He get's a 44oz.
I get a 32 oz.
He gets diet.(hates the feel of the sugar coating on the roof of your mouth)
I get regular.
He's about to fall asleep, so he instantly starts drinking.
I savor my Mountain Dew like always.
He forks out the cash.
I keep on drinking.
Then we get in the car and talk about getting out the cuda
but there's a foot of snow on the ground and as you know muscle cars don't do well in snow.

Merry Christmas

1. I would love a trip to WI to see our kids (7 of them) , grand kids (2 of them) and family.
2. one more year of good health with no flair ups.
(I have M.S. but no one knows unless I tell them)
3. Would love to have tool box and tool bill paid off. (A mechanics life- it never ends [&:])

I want a Vanishing Point DVD, Tattoo - Blood Red album with Gear Head song (1st played in my Challenger), and to win the lottery. (Last one is tough since I do not buy lottery tickets)

Mostly I would seriously like to find a true life passion. I do not really enjoy what I do for a living and hope to discover what it is I was put here to do. I wish that for all of you as well.

Merry Christmas!

BTW, your's truly got a Challenger for Christmas! Well....like many I'm sure...a little smaller than I would hope...but looks pretty damned cool! An RC you assemble! So me and the boy will have something to do this week while I'm down here in VA w/ my mom!
