I suspect this is more temperature-related than anything. My '09 SE sits outside all the time and I have no cracks. I live in San Antonio and it's probably gotten below 20 degrees just two or three times in the year and a half I've had the car.

I'm taking our car up today to see what they have to say about it. I hope there is no hassle with it.

Well they had to order the rockers and clips. They had one on the lot with broken rockers also. They seemed as if they already know of the rocker problem. They also did a ECM flash and WOW. I likeeeeeee.....when I left I stopped at a red light and when it turned green I just barely hit the gas a little More than usually and it barked the tires. Never did that before unless you layed into it.

Well, I just discovered today that I'm developing a crack in one corner of a rocker -- in front of the right rear tire. It's only about a third of the way down the rocker, but it's there. And the past couple of nights have been cold (for San Antonio) again, with lows in the 30s.

i dont think its weather related, on one of the sites there are people in south FL
and southern CA that have had them crack.

I get mine replaced next Tuesday. I decided I'm going to pull the plastic plug clips on the ends next fall. That way when they shrink over the winter they will not be able to bust the ends again. I don't want to get them replaced every spring if I can help it.

Had mine replaced on Tuesday. While I was there I checked the 20 or so Challengers on the lot. Just about every one of their stock had broken rockers on them. Mine does not any longer. I wonder if Chrysler is going to remake these to get rid of this problem.
