Default Eventfull Ride Home

Im on my way home from work last night and I notice that the construction on A67 is completed. The new road is as smooth as silk and the speed limit has been raised from 80 kph to No-Limit. Yeah Baby! So I stab the gas and soon I'm cruising at 160 kph (about 100 mph).

Then I see a flash in my rear-view so I move to the right. All of a sudden I catch a glimpse as a TRV Tuscan screams by me like Im standing still. SWEET! So Im thinking to myself, "Thats another car I can scratch off my list of cars Ive never seen in person." Its a good day.

So I move back into the fast-lane and my little 1993 BMW 318 screams to 170 kph, the fastest Ive ever had it (pretty close to red-line in 5th). This road is just perfect! But what I see next makes me slam on my brakes. Cruising in the slow-lane is a Mercedes AMG McLaren! So its a two-for day. Another car off my list. All the time though, I was wishing I had my Challenger. I bet I could have drawn some looks from THEM as well, Haha!

SKiDs, bet you just cant wait to get THE CAR hauling along that road. I am envious there as a no limit road is a long ways away for me. Hang in there with the Beemer as the Challenger is coming.

I remember my first trip to Germany while in High School.....just crusing along at a "high speed" of 90 mph thinking this is so cool. Looked in the mirror and saw headlights flashing...no problem the guys got to be miles behind me, so I'll just slowly move over....no hurry. Well he was doing well over 100 and was right on my rear bumper before I even thought about completing my lane change. Learned that when you see flashing headlights......move over NOW. Great fun driving in a foreign country. Would love to go back with my SRT Challenger or even my Daytona Clone (440), but that will never happen.
I still have an unpaid parking ticket from Berlin...they never came for me, so I guess I am off the hook.....

I left a few open in Hanau and Frankfurt back in the early to mid 80's, just for good measure. Had my 1979 Trans Am over there and I raised some H*** to say the least.
