I hope that those we are still Challengerless will find 2009 to be their year of the Challenger...

May peace break into your house and may thieves come to steal your debts. May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet of $100 bills. May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips! May your clothes smell of success like smoking tires and may happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be that of joy. May the problems you had forget your home address! In simple words . . May 2009 be the best year of your life!!!

Thanks to all the members of the forum for your words of wisdow (some better than others)...the words of laughter (some funnier than others)...and finally for sharing your love and enjoyment of the new Challenger with all of us.....lets make 2009 even better

Plans for tonight are quiet. Jennifer is under the weather and decided at last minute to stay home. I've been working on a minor fix and paint project here at the house all day. So I've put some salmon in the broiler and fixed a salad and opened the chardonnay.

All in all, I am celebrating a wonderful 2008! Great relationships with my kids and family and patients and friends. God's my buddy. Great health (just had annual physical on my birthday 12/19), had a great year at the office in all regards, drove the 11,000 mile road trip and did some other traveling as well. Great buddies on this forum and on the Ford Thunderbird forum helping to add to my collection(s). A garage full of cool cars that run, my house project will wrap up by the weekend. A happy outlook for 2009, despite the economic gloom. I have food in my belly, a roof over my head, blankets to keep me warm, people who love me, gas in my car and money in my wallet...

I guess I'm set.

A wonderful, joyous, and Happy New Year to all for 2009. 2008 was great, not only for gaining ownership to THE CAR, but more importantly, a job that allows me more time than ever with my family, no stress, and plenty of personal reward. My family is healthy, our folks are doing as well as can be expected considering their age, and driving in my 08 SRT is delivered further when experiencing THE GRIN!

So here's to you all, Challenger fans, our friendships, and our love for a GREAT AMERICAN CAR![sm=icon_cheers.gif]

We who already are residents of The Amazing Future World of 2009 would like to welcome those less fortunates who are forced to drive Challengers that already are a year old. You will probably see many strange and wondrous things here in the future. Please remember to pull those old buggies over to the curb when an 09 Challenger comes by.

The 2008 Challenger is a Classic.....the 2009 is just another new car...a Challenger yes, but just a new copy of our classic.....
But then not everyone can be lucky and own a classic so it's ok...enjoy your 2009, you may be following us in our 08s but you are still more than welcome......to follow...........
Your "Amazing Future" is really nothing more than "Back to the future of 2008"

Now that we have that straight....have a super 2009 Challenging along.....

A classic? Bah, I say, bah! Those 08 buggies were kit-car versions of the true classic, the 1970 model. And, yes, the 09 indeed is a new car. Welcome to the future!
