Hemi History

The present 5.7 and 6.4 Hemi engines will set manufacturing history next year. In 2011, they will be the longest production Hemis ever at 8 years (2003-2011).

The first generation Hemi was made from 1951 to 1958-a 7 year lifespan and the second generation Hemi was made from 1964 to 1971-a 7 year lifespan.

Lets hope that our "New" Challengers are production longer than the 1970 through 1974 Challengers...and it looks as if that will be the case......
