New Mopar brand
In today's Sunday newspaper, there was an article about Chrysler's participation in the Nov. 3-6 SEMA trade show. As we know, a Challenger 1320 will be featured. It uses lightweight materials, a bulged hiood, and an all-aluminum 426 Hemi. Also, featured wil be a 2009 Dodge Ram Bianco Sport truck, a Jeep Wrangler Overland with a roof-mounted tent, and a Mopar Jeep Lower Forty with 40" by 13.5" tires mounted on 20" aluminum wheels.
What particularly interested me about this article was the statement that "in Chrysler's post-bankruptcy restructuring, Mopar has been positioned as its own brand, along with Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge cars, and Dodge Ram trucks.
Pietro Gorlier, president and CEO of the Mopar brand said "we will gauge reaction to these vehicles and explore new directions."
Stayed tuned!
