Default A radio question...

I know we kinda discussed this topic some time ago, but I don't know if one question got answered. Since the Challenger apparently will come equipped with Sirus radio, does that mean it ONLY will pick up satellite broadcasts, or do such radios pick up local stations, too? I realize the first year of satellite service is free, but I'm somewhat against getting yet another bill for entertainment -- cable TV is bad enough.

My son has a GO Man Go Dodge Daytona with the Sirius Satellite Radio and it will recieve normal radio waves. Its only satellite if you have the service paid for. I think he recieved 6 months free when he bought the car. I'm not a big fan of satellite radio, but I have to say that I do like it. I can't stand Howard Stern and when Sirius payed X amount to have him spew his vlie venom. I did not want to pay them a dime and I never have. But listening to the good that Serius has to offer, I'm on the ropes. But still leaning on not getting it. I don't want a dime of my money to go to Stern! He's a sorry excuse for a vile pile of flesh he resides in.[>:] Sorry just my opinion of the man.

That's the beauty of a free country. You do not like it then you do not have to listen.

AMEN to that awsure and I practice it quite frequently. Thats why hes on satellite and not on regular AM/FM, he could not say anything he wanted. Freedom of speech comes with terms of common sense. And when you don't have it, you go to satellite

I really do want the HD radio. It is the difference between a cassette and CD's in quality.
