I think a retractable hardtop would be cool.

Ragtop is my first choice.... I will get a hardtop only if the decision is made to not make a convertible version. Soft top or retractable hardtop, doesn't matter to me.

I've owned two convertibles in my life and am through with them. They're insecure, they leak and are drafty in winter. No thanks. Hell, I didn't even lock my doors because I'd rather a thief open the door to steal my stuff than cut the top and then steal. I learned that the hard way.

I have never been a ragtop kind of person. I like the sleek look the coupe gives to the whole car. Plus, I am of irish heritage. I am hella white, and having a vert would kill me. Give me 2 minutes and I am well done.

i had a 1990 lebaron vert, and i had excellent luck..even with the original soft top i never had any moisture in the car...

however, whether it is a soft or hard top vert, it requires additional reinforcements to make the car safe, and make it even heavier...this car is going to be a muscle car, and measures will be taken to make it faster, and that is my only concern...so, no, i wouldnt get a soft top...at least i dont think so...but i think that it would look great, if offered.

Maybe I'm a minority, but I'm a convertible addict. My Dad had several in the early 60's; used to love riding in them with the top down, and never really got rid of the affliction. Nothing wrong with a musclecar convertible..... just ask the guys that managed to get their hands on original Hemi Challenger & Cuda ragtops!

fine point, and when i was a wee one, my mom and dad both had ragtop vettes..one a 63, one a 64...they also autocrossed with a fiat spyder something or other...when shopping for what turned out to be the RT, i looked at an eclipse GTS ragtop, but went with the RT....
