My Lady had a convertible Rabbit. She took my truck to work one day and I had to run errands in that thing. I felt... less than manly. []

Personally, I think the Challenger is fine as is. I like convertible cars, but I just don't think this one is going to look right as a convertible. (And based on that Photoshop, I think I'm right.) The PT Cruiser convertible is horrific, as is the Mini convertible. If the car wasn't specifically designed as a convertible, I say leave it alone.

No ragtop. No T-top. No sunroof. No moonroof (whatever that is). Just leave it as is. And make it NOW.

k.thx.bye.

TeeWJay426, that is one nice photoshop job. But I would prefer the hardtop. Helps keep the body stiff.

Ragtop would be good to compete in the market with the Mustang.

A ragtop would not be for me for 3 reasons:

1. The car is typically heavier to compensate for the weakened chassis.

2. Since the chassis is weaker there is too much flexing and road handling characteristics are different (ala worse).

3. Safer in case it flips over.....I would like to keep my head.

I will not buy a new Challenger unless a convertible is offered.

My Mustang Cobra convertible weighs less than 200 pounds more than the Cobra coupe. Not a big deal. I have the added benefit of going bald from cruising over 150 miles per hour with the top down. The chicks love my slick head! lol

Put my vote in for a convertible with shaker hood, side exhaust, and R/T graphics in flat black over Carousel Red.

The shaker hood may not happen because of the EPA noise rules for new manufactured cars, but an aftermarket kit would be great!

Now if I could only get the old school rumble from a fuel injected HEMI.....
