Dude, los sientos, Albeeno. I know it's a platitude; so I apologize, but there is truth to it and that is "Cars are replaceable, people aren't". Try to find solace in your own health. I know it sucks now. But in a few years, you'll have a good story and sounds like good memories of the old gal. I've killed one of my cars too. It was an interesting ride. Got it running again, but not road worthy before the wifey's ultimatum.

Thanks man, I appreciate the advice. I only had her 25 months, but got pretty attached. I'll be fine and I can't wait to buy a 2009 Challenger R/T!

Only 25 months, man that is a short life for a car. So what are you going to drive while your waiting for the Challenger to come out?

At this time, as crazy as this sounds, I don' really care what I get. I'm looking to buy something/anything for $1,500 or less just to putz around in during the winter months. Then, come summer/fall when the `09 Challenger R/Ts are out, it's game-on! Of course I will hang on to the winter beater and throw a cover over the Challenger and it will NEVER see the light of day from Dec 1 thru May 1. Plan B is to just wait it out until spring 2009 and get a Challenger then, but I don't think I'll be able to wait that long. Especially if I know the `09s are already on showroom floors!

The mistake I made was thinking the Mustang GT could be a daily driver 12 months out of the year in New England. I always seem to learn things the hard way, unfortunately... [:@]

I don't even use my Mustang as a DD. And I am in SoCal. If it looks like it will rain, I will drive the beater truck. And not because of the car and me not able to drive in the rain. It is all the other idiots out there that seem to think they can drive however they want when it rains and having them ram my car.
