BTW i have to go for 6 months of drivng with my parents before i can get my actual license. this was just the test for my permit to drive without an instructor.

Life is good.

Congrats on the license tdub. Too bad they restrict kids so much these days. When I was young, you got a learner's permit at age 14 (which meant you had to have an adult with you) and your regular license at 16 -- no restrictions on who (if anyone) had to be with you. That's the way it should be. The only way you REALLY learn to drive is to be by yourself and have to figure things out without someone telling you what to do.

Congratuiations,we knew you would do...now as a past flight instructor once told me...you now have a license to learn...
I remember how proud I was when I "earned" my driver's license. Funny thing was, my parents almost forced me to take the test as I was flying gliders while in Jr High (the only student at the school flying) and had little interest in driving...I think they may have regretted pushing me into getting my driver's license as I HAD to then buy a car, which of course HAD to be a performance car with a V-8...(a used 1966 Charger with a 383 purchased for $500.00 was my first car)...and life was never the same and I never looked back...(I also continued flying, eventually earning my commercial
multi-engine/Instrument/Rotorwing and Ground Instructor Licenses)

It's from the old TV series "KungFu" (1971-1975) starting David Carradine as Kwai Chang Caine" ....So what do I win???!!!???

(Side note on the series: Bruce Lee originated and pitched the concept. But those in charge felt that American audiences were "not ready" for an Asian actor in the lead role of a TV series......boy have times changed since the early 70's)

I'm happy you were successful. Prayers were answered (don't forget to thank Him). Sounds like you had a fun car to drive, I had a choice between a NA 2.5L I4 powered 1991 Dodge Caravan or a 1998 Ford Taurus base level 3.0L OHV V6 when I started.

To answer your question, I'd say the Ram as the 5.7L produced about 200 hp & 300 ft-lbs of tq and the 360 produced 230hp & 325ft-lbs of tq.

Yes, Lear but not because I've seen it but because of a parody.

Talking Squeeky Clean!

Washed Super Dodge at my buddies house tonight. nothin' like a good power washin' to clean out the wheel wells! AND on top of that my dad let me drive the 200 feet around the corner to his house ALONE!

In case you didn't tell that was sarcastic excitement.

Good job passing bud. And good luck with getting your license too. I will be getting mine soon. I remember when I got my permit, I got to take out our 1965 Pontiac Bonneville convertible out for a spin and loved it. It's exhilarating learning how to drive, but remember, you're not immortal. Be careful, and good luck.
