I fell asleep at the wheel one time many years ago. I woke up just in time to jerk the wheel and pull myself out of the median going about 60. Scared the holy crap out of me... bad enough that I have never even come close to dozing while behind the wheel since. That was probably 25 years ago.

The worst that ever happened to me was my eyes were open but my mind turned off and I was getting off on the side of the road, but that was when I was about 15 so I was new at that yet. I haven't had many problems since I've gotten older, but eventually getting older won't be an advantage.
