What's next, Challenger gets CR recommendation?
Just got the latest issue of Consumer Reports. This months auto reviews are on pick'emup trucks. Toyota's Tundra and the Dodge Ram (yup, you read it right!) were the only two trucks that got CR's recommendation. The best-selling F150 was NOT recommended.
What's next? The Challenger will get CR's recommendation for Sport Coupes "under $50,000.00"?
This info (regardless of how much stock you put into CR's testing results/reports) can't hurt Dodge.

I'm going to say, don't hold your breathe. According to CR's ratings, the LX cars are unreliable; however, that is mostly just electrical problems (stuff that will not leave you stranded on the side of the road) with the Daimler components. I have heard rumors though that the Challenger will be more a true Chrysler product than the LX cars have been. Besides, I don't put very much faith in CR since they are willing to ignore the engine problems Toyota has had with their new Tundra among other models. Engine problems are serious as they can leave you stranded and they are extremely expensive. The things they focus on simply do not matter. An A/C issue normally.
