And hopefully, the 6-speed manual isn't the only transmission available. A 1968 Coronet R/T 440 Magnum with AUTOMATIC transmission convinced me not to ever bother with a manual shifter again. Never have, never will.

 

i think that one problem is that there is really no "spokesperson" for the challenger...let keep in mind that its a BIG company...whoever was with the car is it was on woodward (we didnt bother going to the manu. displays) is just someone who wasnt lucky enough to get the day off of work...

i took a few hundred pictures...ill have to get them hosted up...this year, i tried to not just focus on a certain make or model, but rather get pictures of everything, so those who cant make it get a good idea of what its like. from burnouts to a mustang overheating right in front of us...i got llots of pictures.

i was also pleased to see a few people taking pictures of the laser [8D]

 

Well it was a guy who was wearing a orange shirt that said Challenger on it. It was good enough for me. The guy gave his speech at about 12:30.

 

i wish that they would just quit with the speculation nonsense and tell us what the plans are...[:@]

 

Yeah, but if they did that, we wouldn't be giving them all the free advertising we are.

 

we would stil be talking about the car, if we knew what was going on...at least i would!
