That is also true. Really it is difficult to compare these cars because they are really different. I consider the Viper to be a discount supercar vs. the Jaguar to be a luxury supercar.

I was answering your question on which one is the fastest and your right it is extremely expensive because it was not a full-production car as you pointed out.

Let's make this interesting. Set up some guidelines that we have to follow before we say which one we want.

how about this...

you cannot modify the vehicle....you win the car, but have to pay the tax on the winnings...and you have to daily drive the car.

Ah, good one. Then I'd take the Superbird. Most of those other cars would be too uncomfortable for a daily driver but the Superbird should be very comfortable. The taxes on all of them would be expensive, but the nice thing would be that the resale value would continue to increase as time went on.

The only condition I would have would be to switch the old fashion fan-cooling system, replaced with an electronic fan system because I talked to an owner of a Charger Daytona and he said he had an electronic fan system replace the fan belted system because when the car was idling, it would over heat very quickly.

Which would you pick Patrick?

From what I remember in NASCAR the Superbird was the fastest stock car ever produced at if I remember correctly at 248 MPH.

The Superbird was the one that was the wrong year, but I still would take the Superbird just for the unqiue styling.

I don't think it went that fast. It is perfectly capable if given the right engine output and gearing.

its 200 mph speed record (set by Buddy Baker on March 24, 1970, at 200.447 mph around Talladega), ........I remembered that with a 440 commando engine it would go faster than 200 MPH.

If that was in NASCAR, it would have to have the HEMI because the displacement limit was about 427.
