That is 09 PILOT car and it probily has some crazy VIN number also no decals on the hood. Great Catch.

Also speaking of site issues what happened to the Silver Challenger thread it dissapeared and I have had acouple of people ask me where it went.

I am here to report seeing my first production Challenger in the flesh yesterday! It was on Rte. 9 East in Framingham, MA. It was silver and it was absolutely gorgeous! I was heading west and unfortuntely didn't have time to check it out more, but I knew what it was from about a mile away....the lights were all lit up and it just looked downright nasty.

Last week I got a call from a Sales Rep at Planet Dodge in Franklin, MA telling me that their `08 Challenger had just arrived and he was inviting me to come down and take a look at it before the Owner came by the followig morning to take delivery. I think he was also hoping to get me to order my `09 R/T. Having just been laid off from work the week prior, I decided skip out because if I went down there, there was no way I wasn't going to order one. Hopefully not too much longer though....patience Young Jedi.

what makes it an 09 car? it looks like a standard 08 with M tags to me...no black on the hood?

however, yesterday i was a gun metal grey challenger with non-M tags and no black wing and trim..leading me to believe that it was an RT model, but it had regular state tags on it...could someone have painted their challenger already? it did have the wing, painted body color, and it didnt seem to have ANY logos...engine hood designation or trimline badging...

All the '08s are SRT8, The 09 RT has a painted spoiler and a 5.7. There appear to be some 09s around but they are not due out until the 4th quarter of 08
