I dropped the middle "suitcase" muffler and added 2 Walker bullet resonators. Deepened the sound just the way I had hoped. Now it sounds like a muscle car.

Sound pretty good. So just to clarify... you took out the suitcase muffler and stock resonators and added bullit resonators in place of the suitcase muffler..??

I removed the suitcase muffler only, left the rest of the stock system The resonators are Walkers part#24098. If I was on my home comp, I would post a pic of the installation. The system is free flowing enough for the mods I have planned, my cost through my shop was around $70. I MIG welded them in myself.

That's one bad sounding machine! I think I will follow your advice and remove the suitcase!
Thanks for your post.

Now it sounds like a muscle car.
I dunno. Yours starts WAY too easy. Now this guy's TRULY sounds like a muscle car. There's something about the old gear-reduction starters and clattering heat risers that add to the sound of power.

Lol Roswell! That vid reminded me of trying to start my 71 roadrunner. That old familiar Mopar cranking sound. Was such a pain on a cold morning, yet fun at the same time.
