I have 250 miles on my 08 Chally, nice weather today, so I wanted to put some miles on the car. I pulled up the garage door and started up the Challenger, look in my rearview mirror and saw a bunch of blue smoke coming from the exhaust tailpipes. I felt like I was in my 1963 Plymouth. Has anyone had an incident with smoke coming out of their exhaust ?

I had some smoke then it went away. The delaership mechanic when I picked up the car and here in AZ told it was normal and that it would stop between 300 and 500 miles and it did. Check you oil after each drive. The break in instructions tell you to do so.

I drive mine everyday have only smoke coming from tires.
Parking your cars for a week and starting them is not so good.
There is a pre oiler you can get installed that will pump oil to top of motor before you start it.
After sitting all oil drains to pan..longer it sits, dryer the parts get.
If you dont want to do the pre oiler SLICK 50 it.

I agree with you 100%. If you let it sit and bleed down you will be more likely to see smoke. I never had issue, but my break in was fast :-)
Might be that 10+ dyno pulls at 6400 rpm.....
If it goes longer then the 300 miles I would see the dealer. Even now I would make them aware and get it documented... If it goes away then great. It was break in and you seated some rings. I have seen a couple uTube vids where I saw smoke, and my friends Charger blew smoke for a couple hundred miles.

That doesn't sound good. Modern cars should be built with the correct parts and require almost no breakin. If your car is smoking it may of been built with the wrong size rings(they are computer sized for each pison on every engine). That will be a problem for the life of the engine. I would take it back and demand a new engine or car. You will get the standard "thats normal" answer. Ask them to start three cars in lot. I bet none of them smoke like yours. You spend good money and should of got a good car.
