I had something happen yesterday that suprised me . Was driving down a street in town . And a soldier was walking back to his house from his mail box. He must have heard the Challenger . Because his head snapped around to look . He then waved at me with the biggest grin on his face. And watched till I turned off on another street . If it had been at Fort Knox that I live near and on base often to see some of my doctor's . I wouldn't have thought much of it . But he had a newer model Corvette conv. in his drive way. With many performance car's I have owned . And for sure the Mazda MX-5 GT I traded in on the Challenger. A Corvette owner waving doesn't happen. Or not to me . I waved back at him . My wife said maybe he wanted me to stop so he could look at the car. Anyone else have a good story since getting their new R/T . I've also had people stand and look out at the car at the local Denny's I eat breakfast at often .

 

I had a guy in a new Mercedes with paper plates still on rubber necking at my R/T on the way home today . I gave him the grin, but he probably couldnt see it thru the tinted windows.
