Default SRT8 tires

gotta vent here...just found out the the front tires on my 300C SRT8 are shot at 17000 miles (rotated and balanced every 6k miles, alignment is fine) I have had the Eagle F1 Supercar tires on Corvettes before and they always lasted at least 30K miles... it stinks that I have to replace tires on a car I leased for 2 years!!!

I usually get 50K or more out of tires but the last set of Goodyears I had was on my Dakota and at less than 30K it was like driving a sled. If it rained it became a white knuckler driving it, couldn't start without spinning, couldn't stop without sliding. The tires were total junk.

I used to buy nothing but Goodyear, but like you, I started having problems and switched to Bridgestone. I suppose if I need new tires on the Challenger I will replace with Goodyears, but other than that I will no longer buy their tires for any of my other vehicles.

My 1st question would be which Goodyears do you have. That certainly makes a difference.

I believe they were Wrangler AT/S, that came on the truck. I replaced with Bridestone AT Revo's and the difference was ASTOUNDING. I have since put the same Bridgestone tires on my Jeep (replaced Goodyears) and the ride and handling are much improved.
