Either all the dealers haven't received the news from Chrysler yet, or some dealers are choosing to leave the Challengers out. The dealer I called here yesterday said that they are still included. I'm starting to wonder though. Guess the only way to find out is go through the deal until either something come back and they go oops, our mistake, or the deal goes through.

I've ben dealing with a goo ddealer up here, and he hasn't been able to find what I want. I had a lead on a car in southern Jersey, but that dealer won;t call him back. I'm afraid to order one as people here have been waiting 6-8 months, while others just 8-10 weeks. Makes you wonder is it the dealers no trying hard enough, or what. This is very depressing, this is the first NEW car, since the debut of the Viper, to get me really excited, but I can afford this one that I'm taking a chance on staying employed. NOw I just get depressed thinking about the whole thing.

[8D] I know what you mean,I really had my heart set on a new Classic pkg,but not getting to order it the way I want,is holding me back.I don,t think the Classics will take very long to get once they start them, unless you order the B-5 Blue, cause that color is being sprayed till spring.Plus I think it depends on which pkg. you order. One dealer told me they have suspended all F@Mpackages for now,and our only building J pkg,s. So,if you ordered a F,or M,you could be waiting till fall,or longer. But a J pkg.,wouls probably be here by spring.Myself,I wouldn,t want one coming till spring anyway.I am also going to see,if I can get a order in for a SUPERSTOCK to campaign on the 1320 this year. The last drag only car I had was a 66 Coronet, that had a 68 383 police interceptor in it.

I believe the wait thing that's for sure. I've been sitting on nothing, no build, no advancement in my status, since the end of Oct. The only good thing from it all is that I can continue saving money, but at the same time, with employee pricing right now, I think that would probably be as good, or better, then any money I would have saved by the time I get the car. I do wish I knew what was holding up the whole process. Automatic, no problem, manual, wait a year and you may see it.

[] I just got off the phone with another Dodge dealer that told me they just recieved a notification from Dodge, that the E/P is back on for all Challengers except the SRT,s. He was quoting it directly to me as he had it in his hand, dated today.I haven,t as of late, contacted any other dealers yet that I have been talkin to previously. But,he said they just recieved today, and he was reading it right off.I figured, with sales,in general, for all vehicles in the dumpster, the programs can only get better, not worse.Have any of you heard if the yellow that they are going to bring out later this year is part of a package, like a classic,or just a color added on.

I just went to the Jeep/Dodge dealership. I test drove the Wrangler 4Door X SUV Rubicon. Nice ride. Shifts like suck though. Anyhow, I was telling him I gave up on the challenger because I was poised to buy one and I was a day late on the EP (I had put an offer in on one that I found on the internet with a dealer 100 miles away and he agreed to the price but said it was only good that night... this was Feb 3rd and I couldnt get out there and the EP supposedly expired on challenger the next day). So I was frustrated and threw my hands up at even buying a challenger. Well, the dealer today said I was crazy and the EP pricing DOES apply to the Challengers, except the SRT8. I asked him if he was sure and he got his floor sales manager over and confirmed EP is still on all models of the Challenger except SRT8...

Ok, here's the final break down for everyone out there. I've been going to several dealerships, and one having the car I want actually told the other manager that I need to get teh F*** out of there then as soon as we couldn't come to an agreement, but this is what they know. Nothing. They were told by Chrysler that the deal ended on the 3rd. For some reason it seems that they didn't tell them that they started it up again, maybe enough people complained or something. The three dealers I went to still believe that it was over, and even if it's not, they aren't going to do it. I called Dodge themselves and was told to call the rebate center. Per the rebate center, and per the Dodge website again, the EP is on the Challenger for the time being.

Bought a R/T today, MSRP minus employee price, minus $1000 additional incentive, zero down and 0% finance for 48 months, lifetime power train warranty. They showed me the dealer invoice.

They still made a healthy profit, if you really fought with them you might get it down more but the dealers are moving them pretty quick here.
