Thanks for your service to our country!
You may save money on gas(great, if you don't care about performance), but you'll give it all back, and then some, on depreciation!

RE: Would you buy the V6?
Hey, I know I'm new to this site, but I'm a HARD CORE, TRUE HEARTED MOPAR MAN ! ! ! The current GM an Ford owners just gripe my ass about there negetive imputs on our NEW MOPARS ! ! ! I'm am, and will BUY the NEW Challenger even if they only offered a 198 slant six 3sp on the column, no A/C, AM Radio, with 12 month-12k warranty, an a EPA rating of 10 city & 15 highway.. Hey I know there are some mopar guys that's put small & big blocks in 6cly. cars. Their putting 5.7hemi's in our old muscle cars, why not put an old H.P. motor in a new muscle car, like the new Challenger. My '71 Challenger 318, A/C car, I've found out has had a 440 under the hood since 1973.

Viperwings, thanks for your service to our country in the military. I fully understand your reasoning, and have no issue with it. I've said all along that DCX should offer a V6 because of folks like you, despite the fact that I personally wouldn't buy one. There are plenty of people that would, and DCX would be making a mistake by not offering it- those would be sales that will probably go to the Mustang or some other brand-X mobile.

Thank you viperwings for your service to our country. I really appreciate it. I have no problem whatsoever with a V6 auto base model set up. I would like to see both manuals AND autos, a V6 base, 5.7L, 6.1L, and 6.4L HEMIs available on this car. They need all of these engine options so then they don't miss out on any market segments.
