Default Exhaust Tip for V6

So I just picked up my Challenger last week and the mod bug is already starting to bite! Figured I'd start with something simple and wanted to see if anyone has bought this tip before?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=260303071225

It looks good to me but was wondering if anyone's already bought it and has any feedback?

The guy says no drilling or welding, but the stock tip is downturned...How would a straight tip fit without cutting? Install in 2 minutes. Heck it takes two minutes to just get under there or lift it! I don't know. It might be fine, but I am going to wait for a Challenger owner to confirm it

I suspect it is probably a cheesy chrome tip like the ones that were so prevalent back in the 80s. You know... the ones that had two thumbscrews that clamped it to the tailpipe. Probably a Chinese knockoff with inferior chrome finish... for $55 with shipping it is probably a waste of about $45... IMHO...

Of course... I am pretty suspicious of a lot of the offerings of this nature made on ebay.

Well I ended buying it and I'm very pleased. Really no drilling or welding, it bolts on. Didn't have the jack the car up or put it on ramps. Just did it in my driveway. Doesn't come out at a slant either; very cool.

I'd like to see how it can stick out straight on a down turned tail pipe.

Bolts on to my tail pipe with 3 bolts. I can adjust how much I want it to stick out from the bumper, but I just mounted it like the pictures in the listing. The tip is large enough so that it doesn't come out at a big slant like the tail pipe. There's still a very gradual slant, but looks great from all angles.
