RE: Has any one done blue stripes on a white car
Well its like this. Carroll Shelby is sort of a hire gun willing to sell his services to highest bidder. All his Mustang and Ford fame came about because Chevy said no to his Cobra idea. Then Ford gave him some engines and viola! Then when the Ford deal dried up he jumped to Dodge. Then when the opportunity to make some money on the Gone In 60 Eleanor he actually ok'd them letting newly restored regular Mustangs into the exclusive Shelby registery just to boost the sales of the Continuation line. Ford guy don't like his lack of loyalty and Dodge just treats him like the consultant he is. I don't think MOPAR people think he's anything very special.

Well then it's not Shelby Ford stripes it's Shelby Dodge stripes so it's ok.

I do not think that putting blue stripes on a white Challenger would signal the end of the world. It might make the Earth stand still one day, but end it? No. However, I personally wouldn't use the blue-and-white combination on a Challenger for the simple reason that I'm from the 1970s. To me, that is strictly a Ford combination, particularly when combined with a litte red. Would you want your Challenger to be mistaken for one of these?
