Yes you would have to pick up a Diablo. Then just find someone online that can make you a tune for your car, and then they will send it to you. From there you just load it from your PC to the Diablo, and then load it in your car

In the past week I've done research on what CAI gives the best performance increase. By far this K&N is the best. The test were done by an independent group (dyno sheets available) who also tested several other mods for the new 6.1 Hemi Challenger.

K&N 63-1114 Air Charger Air Intake Kit

Amazon.com has it real cheap.

RRunner, I put a CAI (K&N) on my 2005 Magnum R/T along with a SuperChips tune. The combination was exactly what I was looking for performance wise. Regarding your question on sound, there is little difference in sound at idle or cruise, by WOT, or even 3/4 throttle generates a very nice throaty sound from under the hood...

There is a short rubber hose that connects your TB to light weight aluminum CAI assy.

Thanks Paladin I already ordered the CIA from Mopar. Yeah the K&N is cheaper but I am telling myself the Mopar one looks better.

I wil probably find myself picking up the DiabloSport Predator Tuner after my next TDY.

So how is that retirement treating you? I am a former action guy turned into a fat lazy civy working for the Army now. Life is good now but there are times I sure do miss the good ol days!

The MOPAR kit definitely looks nicer. After hearing a few comments about the kit I've decided to wait on ordering until I hear my buddy's Challenger, he'll be my test mule. I do have the cover and door sills...just no car.
