Interesting question posed to the SRT engineers and their answer. Interesting.
If you have tuned the SRT for maximum performance, why are owners buying tuners like Predator and Diablo to gain more hp?

I would not spend the money as most of the aftermarket tuning packages we have evaluated may put spark in or take fuel out of the wrong places and create durability issues.

I totally agree. I have been told the very same thing.

Good luck with Mopar CAI system. Maybe we can compare performance notes soon.

As far as the Army goes, since I retired I've never been so bored!! Nothing will ever replace Special Operations Attack Helicopter missions.

Thanks Paladin I already ordered the CIA from Mopar. Yeah the K&N is cheaper but I am telling myself the Mopar one looks better.

I wil probably find myself picking up the DiabloSport Predator Tuner after my next TDY.

So how is that retirement treating you? I am a former action guy turned into a fat lazy civy working for the Army now. Life is good now but there are times I sure do miss the good ol days!

You need new goals, challenges, things to strive for to keep you engaged and make your life exciting and meaningful.
Otherwise you get into a nasty rut.

The whole concept of retirement as a time when you stop striving for anything is wrong.
People always need goals to strive for no matter how old they get.
Humans are not happy unless we are always working towards goals of some kind, things that challenge us and light a fire of passion.

If you stop striving, then basically you're not living.

wow that was a really good gain. almost 40hp and 30ft/lbs of torque. Man that's great. Even more reason to buy an R/T... Just to catch an SRT and take 'em. See you rich boy's on the road

When I say retired I mean retired from the US Army and I was only 38 years old when I completed my 20. I have a very challenging and exciting job but it will never replace the level of excitement I experienced while on active duty. Now the pay is a whole different story.
