I heard Bullitt was not doing well too, but mustang sales are off in general as that body style ages. The other thing is, this is the SECOND Bullitt version so that lost some steam there. I actually thought it was a pretty good combo, but they have been there, done that already. Just my opinion.

How much does Ford want for the Bullit?

I saw one that went for around 28K on Mecum Auctions.

I think a new one is 32K, but I'm not for sure.

I pass one sitting on a Ford lot almost weekly. A black one, well equipped too.

Looks like low 30's for it. Notice they don't even have it listed as a "Bullit"???

There's an `08 Bullitt at my local Ford store sitting right out front in the parking lot. Personally, I think it looks a helluva lot beter in Dark Highland Green than it does in Black. Looks like a total sleeper too.

Speaking of Mustang - rumor has it the 2010 Mustang is due for a big freshening up. The least of which is RUMORED to include Ford scrapping the 4.6 liter / 281 ci motor for the return of the 5.0 liter...complete with 400-415 HP! I think they probably see the Challenger and the Camaro slowly approaching in their rearview and want to stay competitive. All I can say is a 400 HP GT that weighs in the neighborhood of 3,500 - 3,700 lbs would absolutely SMOKE the aforementioned competition! As I look into my crystal ball I see Dodge one-upping Blue Oval and the General and finally breaking out that 6.4 liter motor and smoking the Mustang. Good days ahead my friends...good days indeed!
