Yes it is. Though it is pricey. Close to a grand after converting Euros to US Dollars. I wish I knew the people in Germany to ask questions on this unit. But never met that half of the business.

Don't hold you breath. But you never know. I haven't heard anything through the grapevine in my company about it as I have asked. Like I said, if I knew my counterparts over there, I could ask them. But unfortunately I have never met them.

I agree the Ipod is definetly not the only mp3 out there but I do happen to like mine.

I guess I never really noticed this topic before. I'm a little behind the times since I don't have an MP3 player of any sort. I still use my CDs. I guess I really don't have a need since I normally listen to about the same CDs. I just rotate around is all. However, it is a necessity if the car manufacturers want to keep up with the current market.
