I guess I never really noticed this topic before. I'm a little behind the times since I don't have an MP3 player of any sort. I still use my CDs. I guess I really don't have a need since I normally listen to about the same CDs. I just rotate around is all. However, it is a necessity if the car manufacturers want to keep up with the current market.
