Was it a direct install plug and play?

From what I understand the install is pretty straight forward. However you need the dealers equipment to "Activate" the remote start system.

Yes, but the dealer will have to do it because there is software programing required.

So I see this thread , and think , hey that would not be bad. 210 bucks plus tax. Plus dealer install of flash and what, a module exchange ? So I call my dealer and the service dept. says 399.99 plus tax which includes the 82211026AD parts. I guess I will wait a while on it.
