Thats a load of crap! I own a 06 GT Mustang, pure stock 5 speed and an 09 R/T 6 speed and I would say given most parameters (driver ability etc) that they could go either way. My wife drives the hell out a car and shes says the RT feels faster. I think the Mustang feels quick too so who knows, but Stock vs Stock its close with and edge to the R/T.

I agree with auto's being quicker down the strip...but I am not so sure stock for stock the Mustang is quicker. Mine was pretty strong stock....13.12.
Regardless....I will probably have the only silver Challenger there Saturday so if you see me look me up.

Yeah I think he meant too... as in "too much". But if he will be honest a stock NA 4.6 at the best I've seen is 315 HP but dynos show it to be 350 HP. Best 5.7 Hemi is 376 HP and dynos show it to be 390 HP. So there you are. Facts as best as I can find. If I'm wrong please enlighten me.

Enlightenment happens at the strip, cant wait to take mine out! I dont care what those numbers say I kill every R/T and SRT for that matter i come upon on the street. Funny to watch those old men cry that drive em when the pony gallops by!

Yeah whatever-this thread is starting to smell of BS or should I say Mustang poop! Please don't turn this into a Mustang vs Challenger hijack. For the record own a 2 mustangs (a 5.0 and the 06) a Camaro and the Dodge so I'm not biased however this IS a Dodge Challenger Forum so-

All I can say is I will be at the track Saturday...just like I am very week when they are open. Look me up, if you win then you have a respectable street car. If you lose....there should be no smack talking a mildly mod'd RT.
