I think the rattle is something that they wanted to include as a retro feature on these cars. And yes, I did say cars because I'm not talking about just the Challenger. 06 and 07 Stang owner here and they both rattle all over the place. There are things that are just hanging lose that are meant to be popped out for easy removal of say a door or something similar to that that make noise. I think I've gotten use to it though. Just part of the retro style.

I've got a real high tolerance for rattles. I've never been stranded on the side of a road by anything that just rattled. I get stranded by things that clang, bang, vibrate like he77 and fall off. Install that cat back and crank the talk radio up to 11!

Seriously, I try not to let the small stuff bother me too much. My foreign cars rattle and squeak, too. Took them nearly 200k miles to do it but they do it...

No rattles but I have some very windy noises. At 100 the sun roof wissles/sucks air, at 115 the side windows wissle/suck at 130 it all goes away.

Priceless.

as notes prior with AC/DC maybe I do have rattles but they get masked by Slipknot and various others at about 20 on the volume controls.

Dark Corner, Slipknot is drowning out most of my noises as well but can still here the low hum of the Hemi! One thing I found that wasn't a noise but may later be a concern was while I removed my exhaust manifolds to install the new JBA headers the passenger heat shield over the manifold was loose. It is held on by 4 10mm nuts over the manifold studs. I found the 2 front nuts to be extremely loose(one almost ready to fall off) and the back 2 I took off by hand. Perhaps it is just a fluke with my car but if anyone begins to hear an exhaust rattle(I always found heat shields breaking welds on Mitsubishis when I worked for them) then consider checking this. The driver's side was nice and tight.
