SRT suspension on my R/T and back
I put the SRT suspension on my R/T 2 months ago. Found a kit with only 1000 miles on it for dirt cheap.
Boy did it handle soo good!!
It did shake me and rattle me quite a bit also.
I had a problem with a weird clunk coming from the front that no one could figure out that made me take it off in the end.
Plus, I think the SRT suspension was expecting a much heavier engine also so the front was not near as low as a true SRT.
It made the R/T a little flat looking, almost sagging in the rear.
(See picture)
Today I put the R/T kit back on and I must say I really did miss the smoother ride. It just feels more like the new car I bought in the first place again!!
Morale of the Story, Don't put SRT suspension on an R/T.......8)
Plus, I don't think White cars look that good low to the ground like other colors.
I will probably later on put the SRT Springs only on the front to add a bit more of a slope to the look of the car, but never the shocks again.
Hope this helps someone else thinking of doing the same.

RE: SRT suspension on my R/T and back
Thanks for posting Carbon. That is good info for anyone considering the swap. I don't know if I'd put just the SRT springs with the R/T shocks. They might be "too much spring" for the softer shock that they are opposing. But you never really know til you try, and you're clearly not afraid to experiment, so more power to ya
