Way to go tdub, I bet you can't wait to get started How about Rhonda... from a fish called Rhonda. It was a movie a few years back. Or Heart from the song "Barracuda" That car you show in the post is one bad boy. And with killer looks I never knew a Hemi could fit in an A body Barracuda. Keep the good grades up and who knows... maybe we'll see you driving to school in one Bad Barracuda.

OK I'm back to my house in NC and I mocked the motor up last night. I put a bolt or 2 to hold the parts on. I'm waiting for the comp cams cam shaft to come in and I will be putting it together for real. Its called a Mother Thumper cam for some unknown reason to me. 290 degrees duration and a lift near 490. Lots of gear needed and a stall of at least 2800. Got that covered I'm still working 12 hours 6 days a week. But at least I'm home and can take those pictures now. As soon as I can get my sons digi. camera I'll post some pictures of the engine on the stand with all the goodies on it.

Good news lear, hopefully your be driving before you know it.

I haven't been on here very much lately. I'm getting ready to move back to VA with my job, and am trying to buy a house for the first time of my life. This has taken a lot out of me, I never new it was such a pain in the rear.
I finally got my reverse problem figured out, after wasting a lot money and time on new linkages. I decided to have a machine shop make me a linkage and now I kick myself for not doing this from the get go. I was ready to buy a new set of heads this week for my birthday, buy I got a speeding ticket on my bike and that crushed those plans. I'm going to sell my bike this month, and use that money for heads and rockers.

tdub that baracuda is a monster. I've always wanted to do a 67 hemi clone like S/S model. Go luck with the project and keep us posted.

Sorry to here about the speeding ticket jdb840. Good luck on the house purchase. They have got a lot tighter on the housing deal. And I do hope to be driving soon I'm glad you got the linkage straightened out and the new heads will be an improvment over the old magnum heads. I have been reading alot about heads and cams trying to make up my mind about my choices. I went with the stock mildly ported and a set of 1.6 roller tip steel rockers just for the cheap. I want to get started on the GTX so I'm cutting corners on the Challenger and trying to save enough to get started. Let us know how the job and the move went. I'll be posting pictures as soon as my sons fiance' can take them and post them for me
