Default "Classic R/T" package later '09

Just got this blurb in the office e-mail. I hadn't heard anything about this one yet. It looks like it will have the script badging and a couple of other "original car" queues. If anyone has heard anything else, post out. If this is a repost, I missed the original one.

For Dodge customers yearning for a modern Dodge Challenger dripping with even more heritage, there is the special-edition Dodge Challenger Classic R/T (late availability). In addition to everything the Dodge Challenger R/T offers, the Classic R/T comes in B5 Blue with black wide side stripes, inspired by the original. The Classic R/T will also feature unique script-style badging hearkening back to the 1970s' models and exclusive 20-inch heritage five-spoke aluminum wheels.

I'm liking the sounds of this. Though I would make the wheels smaller, and instead of B5 Blue, it would be Plum Crazy.

Maybe this is how they are going to satisfy those people who want colors like "sublime green", "panther pink", "plum crazy" etc etc ? By offering a few special classic pacjages throughout the years. Kind of smart if you ask me, and it keeps things interesting.

I think doing these "packages" will be tremendous for them, keep interest up and spark folks that were not even thinking about a Challenger (the whole idea).

I posted this elsewhere but check out www.g5challengers.com for some other "versions" too. Pretty cool time, too bad gas prices suck!

I am really going to struggle on getting rims for mine. Not sure if I really want retro, but I have seen some cooler new ones that I might get.

All are hot, if not just concepts. I like the wheels from the first, but the sublime and stripes on the last. Additionally, the black roof on the last, harkens a little like the Vinyl roofs of the past. While I surely wouldn't want that today, I do think the two tone look is hot.
