RE: 09 SRT Options
Maybe I have missed this in one of the many threads, but are the following options on the SRT and if so what do they cost:
HID Lamps
Electronics Convenience Group
Also, does the Manual Transmission cost $995 or $695 on the SRT?

RE: 09 SRT Options
The HID Headlights are standard on the SRT.
Im not 100% sure about the Electronics Convenience group, but I think it comes with the My Gig package.
As for the tranny and Trak Pak, it costs $695 on the SRT and $995 on the R/T.
(edit) I was looking over the documentation Ive accumulated from here and at other sites. The Electronics Convenience group is standard on the SRT.

If the AY2 SRT OPTION GROUP II E includes an INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WHITE FACE W/TACH, what instrumentation is provided as standard? I thought all SRTs had white-faced guages and a tach?

RE: 09 SRT Options
Well after all I hear and read Im stepping back for a few months. I will order after Christmas. I feel that between Dodge and the dealers the misinformation machine is running overtime trying to goad as many people as possible to order now or accept dealer preordered cars in the RT line it seems. Im waiting and if it goes to shit Im sure I will be able to find a SRT8 more on my terms and timetable from a dealer who, by then, may be more willing to treat me like customer instead of a nuisance.

You really oughta contact Bob Frederick Jr at Frederick Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Boardman Ohio. Hes been outstanding in the customer service area.
The reason I say this is if you wait, by the time you get your Challenger - after Christmas - maybe next spring - whatever you've saved on the price youll have lost on the cost of gasoline. It seems to be a trade off to me.

Yeah I read that it like 2% or something. I work in the steel business and a 2% increase is not bad being that steel has almost doubled in the last year, and increase almost 4% next month.
