Lets keep calm heads here now. I'll post my last post on this string with this statement. A very close friend of mine who works for DCX in a middle management capacity. I asked him flat,
"Is is remotely possible that DCX will make available the Hemi Challenger, should it go to production, for less then 30K?" His response, off the record of course, NO!!!
I'm not mad either but I been around a few years and have always owned new cars and I think I know how this is going to come down. I hope everyone here can be the proud owner of a new Hemi Challenger but the reality of it is, it's not going to happen.
Best of luck in your quest to own the new Challenger and maybe one day we can all meet at a 2nd Generation Challenger Reunion.

RE: 2007 CHALLENGER?
I'd personally be surprised to see anything but a V6 version for less than 30K. The SRT variants will likely be in the upper 30's; just look at the pricing sheet that Jeremiah posted, and it would be consistent with that. The wild card will be if they make it a limited production version, and the dealers try to rape everybody that wants one with availability charges... then all bets are off!

RE: 2007 CHALLENGER?
When I went to the 2007 Detroit Auto Show, I of course came in to see all the automobiles there but I also came in hoping to catch a glimpse of the Camaro and Challenger up close. I was able to see the Camaro but when I came to the Dodge section, the Challenger wasn't there. I then asked one of the ladies working there where the Challenger was, and she told me that the Challenger isn't (wasn't) there because it is due to come out this calendar year in the fall (2007) [further adding to what was said about when the Challenger would be available]

Welcome to the site, thelion33. This is a very old thread and we have had many updates since this one. From what I have heard, they are supposed to come out next year around this time of the year.
