Default 2008 Challenger Idea...

After the production model premiers at the Chicago auto show, wouldn't it be neat if dodge set up a bunch of web cams on the Challenger production line? You could watch them being built at various points and rolling off the line. Would they still be building them at the time of the premier? Or done for the first year run? Where could you suggest an idea like this so that it gets to the right people at Dodge? Day dreaming again...........

I do not think it could happen because of intellectual property issues.

Visit the www.dodge.com and there is a place for inputs.

And probably the workers wouldn't like to be seen chatting with each other instead of tightening bolts as the cars go by on the assembly line or disposing of empty soda-pop cans inside the doors.

LOL! That's a good one. As Jeremiah said, they would not want to do that as it could let out some company secrets. Best to keep closed doors, but not a bad idea otherwise. Perhaps this would be a good way to get the employees to work harder.

Or perhaps just have one cam on the back door where they come out before being shipped? Better than nothing.....ha.

This is a cool idea, but not feasible from a company secrecy standpoint. Manufacturers are very protective of their indivdual processes used to build vehicles.
