You took it a little wrong I think. I have no problem with safty I am all go for safty. I am just not a fan of a muscle car having power windows, locks and big stereo's aspecaily the ones with CD changers and all the big speekers all over the car. That is for the SRT4 and that crowed. I am old school. I felt my 04 GTO had to many toys also but that is modern cars for ya. I would build another old school car but living in AZ it would never pass emitions. [&:] Don't get me wrong I love the new Challenger I and will be getting a 09. My first post if you read the one above it it was about if they were going to offer a stripped down Challenger thats how it got started about the toys in the car.

What's your source for the 2009 production car start date??
ORIGINAL: Cuda340

I think that the majority of us will be buying the 2009 model.

Production of the 2009s starts in July- only 5 months after the 2008 is introduced at the Feb. 3, 2008 Chicago Auto Show. That is why Dodge starting taking orders for the 2008 on Dec. 3, 2007.

That sucks. I can't hardly justify a new car in Sept. that I have to park in Oct. Oh well.... that leaves the door open for other options.
