RE: Challenger on hold all cars sent to storage
Our pressuring the manufacture is not the reason this is happening. The manufacturer is the one who said release was going to be Spring of 08. If they didn't have it together enough to do this, they should have kept their mouths shut on delivery times. They are starting to sound like Microsoft, but even they give you new dates every so often when things go awry. My biggest complaint is the fact that we are hainv to find out that there are problems via third parties instead of from the horses mouth. I've already told my dealer that come June 21 if my car was not here, or at least with a firm date of being here, I would probably cancel my order and ceae doing business with Chrysler. If after 2 years they can't produce a car that is not a truly brand new car, then what is to say they won't have problems producing any car they build.

Nobodys perfect. Car's have issues. Waiting a little longer isn't gunna hurt anyone. It's not fun, no... but it will be totally worth it when that day comes, whenever it may be.

It may not be correct. But I have yet to see the Challenger's starting to show up in the showrooms in volume. Maybe everyone that is getting them is keeping quiet about them.

Another thought, production continues but cars going to storage? I do not think so, all this adds to the final cost of the vehicle. If there was an issue with an electrical system that would stop shipment there is no way they would continue to build. Storage, movement and repair would be far to expensive. It sounds like Chicken Little the sky is falling.
