A new car? Are you referring to the possibility of the Challenger or getting a different Mirada?

a 71 demon, actually...we will be looking at it this weekend...and taking our checkbook, just in case. its supposed to be a very nice car with no engine or trans. it comes with lots of spare parts, and supposedly two engines..just not in the car.

i dont do body work, so i want a car in nice shape on the outside...i dont care about the engine...i can get an engine.

Would the purpose of this car be to replace the Mirada or to have an additional racing car? If the second, are you getting it for Amanda so then you can both race classic muscle in this race? A 71 demon is another really nice car to mod. Much smaller makes it lighter and more manuverable

Are you still going to keep the Mirada? I want to learn how to do some body work and fab. I am seriously looking into buying a mig welder to learn. Harbor Freights has them for around $300. Thoughj I need to get a shed I want to store all the yard work stuff to get more room in the garage.

i did some mig welding when i worked as a mechanic, but my welds arent pretty...

the demon is going to be a street car...which we will store somewhere here. i dont want another drag car. i would like to build a mild small block, probably a 340, with parts that i have laying around. its only got 373 gears, we will run a small stall, probably around 2500 or so...but it will have full interior and everything...we looked at quite a few cars in the cars for sale area at the nats last month, and we would both like to have a nice muscle era car to cruise around.

we arent sure what we will do for an engine, since its by no means a lock yet. we have only HEARD that its very nice...who knows how good it really is...we are going to go all over the car and see how the frame and such looks. the mirada engine is a little tired, so we have talked about using the motor that comes with the demon to rebuild, and putting the mirada 340 in the demon..it is a factory 340 car..i was hoping that it was a 340 4-speed car, but its not.

Is that going to be a show car for you? Sounds like it will be fun to have.

Muscle Car Grill

Muscle Car Grill builder Steve Barker used real car parts to make this V8 engine grill!

Neatorama reader Steve Barker of Muscle Car BBQ Grills told us about his awesome custom-made grills, shaped like a muscle car engine block complete with exhaust ports that let smoke comes out, powder coated grill box that can withstand 900 degree of heat, pistons instead of knobs, and of course, diamond plates for side tables!

Steve uses real car parts where he can, and can install optional nitrous purge system with remote control, a 671 Blower on top with a power lid, LED lights and switches for night BBQ-ing, as well as CD and MP3 player with indoor/outdoor speakers and remote control. The grills comes in either charcoal or propane.
