Challenger Sightings.
Finally, I actually saw another Challenger on the streets while I was driving mine! My wife had a doctor's appointment Monday, and while we were going there, I went through an intersection where an Inferno Red SRT was waiting at the light. The woman driving it spotted us and honked and waved. We waved back. That was the first Inferno Red one I've seen in real life. Very nice color.
I've seen 2 Orange ones like mine, a black SRT, a DWB RT, and SE, one Titanium SE and a red one around town not sure if its an RT or SRT saw it from a distance. 2 of them I saw within 500 ft of each other and on post! So they are starting to get out there. Also this AM I saw a 72 Cuda so that was pretty cool. Hope to see some more, and I've yet to see a white, Inferno or silver.
Another Challenger in our town. A white R/T with black hood to fender stripes and 20 inch wheels. I saw it circling the Dairy Queen. A prison guard owns it. I think it is one of the cars I saw at the dealership in Terre Haute, Indiana. Sharp car!
As the weather becomes more Challenger freindly... the elusive beast will begin to come out of its hibernation. If you are on the streets when this occurs, be careful, very, very careful as to not startle it and cause massive acceleration and exibits of speed
We finally took the Chally on its first trip out of Texas - to NM (about 520 miles from Central TX) - we saw 3 on the way, one of each, an SRT in Snyder, then an SE and an RT later. On the way back we say 2.
Lately in the Waco area, I've seen lots of them - a Toro Red, a black RT, a couple silver, and just last week, I saw a white with black stripes RT at the Hewitt (suburb of waco) post office on my way home from work. LOVE it - when we are in the Chally too - it is fun to exchange that glance that says - "Yeah - we have the baddest car on the market!" It's GREAT!
I'm sure for you guys in the areas that experience winter - you will love seeing more of the Challys emerging from their warm safe garages[sm=groupwave.gif]
